The Resources Section is all about the different places for you to submit your articles, both for pay and for free.

Paid Submission Sites

It's pretty nice to find websites that will pay you for submitting your content. It's fairly simple to see why you'd like to sign up with them, and the income can provide you with a permanent work-at-home job if you commit to it.

  • Associated Content (AC)
  • When it comes to paid submission sites, none are better than Associated Content. You can earn between $3 and $20 per article, and you can also earn bonuses when you accrue enough pageviews, and they'll pay for articles on almost anything! Submit here first and foremost if you're looking to make some money upfront.

  • GetAFreelancer.com
  • GetAFreelancer.com is not necessarily a writing site per se, but it is a good site for some higher-paying writing jobs. Sure, you'll probably have to take a $2 or $3 per article check at first, but if you get good feedback, you can start to charge $5 or $10 per article, and you'll actually have people begging for you to help them. I write for about $11 per article and take jobs here at least once a month. Well worth the effort of working the first two months for peanuts, though I do recommend using the Gold Membership if you plan on doing this a lot (it saves you a ton on fees and ensures that you'll get more higher paying contracts).

  • Constant Content
  • If you want to make bigger money with your content, then the answer is Constant Content. This site will allow you to sell full rights to website publishers who can purchase them. Average sales of articles are around $20, but you have to keep in mind that you content needs to be exceptional to sell for those kinds of prices. Not all of your articles will sell, but those that do will boost your bank account in a big way.

  • Helium
  • If you're writing for Helium, STOP NOW! This site is only good for articles that have been rejected from every other website on the list, and even then, you might as well scrap the project. You make less money per pageview than you would from the AC Pageview Bonus, while it lasts, so save your time and stop submitting here.

Unpaid Submission Sites

You might want to check out this article, which explains why you'd want to submit your articles for free. Keep in mind that free submission is also available at Associated Content, and they'll count your pageviews towards your bonus money. They won't accept affiliate links, however, while these free submission sites will. Keep that in mind.

  • Ezine Articles
  • Submit the majority of your unpaid articles to Ezine Articles. For now, they not only dominate Google Search Rankings, but they also allow you a substantial author bio section for promoting your projects. You'll get the most views for your articles at this site. They are strict on their submission guidelines, but it's still very possible to generate sales and get approved.

  • Article Dashboard
  • Article Dashboard is liked by Yahoo! and that's really the only reason to use it. And it will add to your diversification. If Ezine Articles suddenly loses favor with Google, then this is probably the site that's going to take it's place.

  • Go Articles
  • There are a lot of secondary submission sites, one of them that is recommended is Go Articles. This site has a decent ranking with MSN and Yahoo!, although you still won't get the pageviews with this site that you will with Ezine Articles. If you don't have a website, then this might be a good place to submit your articles because they are not as strict about author bios and referral links.
