Lesson 8 - Writers Block

Writer’s block is a difficult problem to deal with, especially if you’re using AC to support yourself or to make a living with your writing. Sometimes writers block comes from having no idea about what to write about, while other times it’s just general boredom and an unwillingness to write. Whatever the case, you can combat writers block easily if you know how to do it.

For the first type of writers block, where you just don’t know what to write, you should take a look at what you did during your day that you haven’t written about yet. Perhaps you went to the supermarket and found a new product, or perhaps you were just searching for something on the internet and you had a heck of a time finding correct and unbiased information. These kinds of articles are often very good sellers on Associated Content, and the fact is, if you write it, someone is bound to come along and read it.

For the second kind of writers block, where you just feel unable to withstand typing another word in an article, then stop! Take a break and get out to enjoy the world. You’ll come back refreshed and ready. Alternatively, you could just stop writing on one subject and switch gears entirely. Both techniques work equally as well, and they can get you out of writers block for good.

Sometimes when I’m having trouble with writers block, I simply take a look online at a website like CNN or Google News, which is constantly being updated with live information. Once there, I’ll find an article that attracts my attention, and I might write about something that is related to that news story. You can use Article Architect to generate a powerful headline, and with those two things in place, you’ve just got to fill in the blanks.
