Lesson 1 - Who can write for pay?

Anyone, young or old, can be paid for their writing, as long as they have a Paypal Account. The tricky thing is, you need to be 18 to get a Paypal account, but if you’re younger, and your parents are willing, have them sign up and allow you to use it. Unfortunately, for the time being, the site I want to show you about, Associated Content, only pays out via Paypal.

When writing for these companies, you’ll be paid according to how well you write, so you’ll need sufficient English language skills to get paid. In addition, you need to make sure to have proper grammar and spelling.

You DO NOT need to be an experienced writer, nor does your grammar need to be picture perfect. Very few people find it exciting to read textbook quality articles, so write your articles like you would talk to your buddies in the bar. Now, you’re a personal and friendly author who is just out there trying to share their opinion. That’s the kind of writer that people are looking to read, and it’s what comes to most people naturally anyways. Get out there and try it before your judge the opportunity or you judge yourself.

Go ahead and sign up right away, both at Paypal and at Associated Content, and then come right back so I can tell you more about how to write content for this site.
