Keyword Research With Article Architect

Article Architect is a powerful new piece of software that can do an analysis of popular keywords and help you write more findable articles. This software has both a keyword suggestion tool and a keyword density analysis function, and using both in tandem with each other can help you produce articles that will rank on the top page of Google for almost any relevant search on those keywords. This tutorial will show you how to use that tool to your advantage.

To start with, you simply open up your Article Architect software, and choose the project you wish to do keyword analysis for. Then click on the “Research” tab. You will see three windows. The top left window will allow you to input a generic search term that has something to do with your topic or project. Below that, results showing the number of searches in a given month, and suggestions for related keyword terms appear. On the right hand side of the screen is the area where you store your useful keywords.

Once you have the feel of the screen, you simply get started. Type in a very generic keyword for your first search, for instance, “bowling.” You will now see a list of bowling-related keywords like “bowling technique”, “bowling alley”, and “bowling ball” organized in descending order based on the number of searches. You can double click on any of these terms to see how many websites listed on Google have that exact phrase.

By right-clicking on a keyword and choosing “Drill Down on This”. The search will change to that keyword, and the suggestion tool will add or subtract words from the end of your keyword phrase. Again, you can double click to see the number of relevant websites listed on Google.

If you find a hot keyword, one with a significant number of searches and relatively few other competing websites, Article Architect will highlight that keyword in green. Writing an article for this keyword, using the keyword density analyzer, is almost certain to be highly ranked by Google, which will generate a higher number of pageviews. The default setting for hot keywords are those with 2,000 or fewer results, with 200 or more searches per month, but you can edit this under the options menu.

Once you have a keyword that you like, you can simply drag and drop it onto the windown on the right hand side of your screen, which will display all relevant information about that keyword. It is now saved in your basket and will be available to choose when you are writing an article in the word processor. You can find as many keywords as you want, and by saving them, you can return to them anytime to write articles on them.

Now, take your basket full of keywords and begin writing articles which utilize them. Open the Article writing box, and select whichever keyword you wish to use in your article. Now, start writing. When you get a sufficient number of words in your article, the software will begin to analyze on the fly, which is particularly helpful if you are writing a short article. This will let you see at a glance if you need to add more or less keywords to your article. In particular you should pay attention to the title, which should contain these keywords.

Unfortunately, like most things in life, this keyword density analyzer is not perfect. It only looks at the exact keyword phrase, and cannot compute them if, for instance, there are other words spliced between them, or if the keyword phrase is out of order. The software is still young, however, so an update on this may be forthcoming. If you have a situation where you wish to see how your article is with the keywords out of order, you can simply add in your target keyword at the end of the article once for each time you have the words out of order or with other words spliced in. This will give you a rough estimate of the percentage of your keywords that appear in the article to Google’s robots.

Once you have an article which contains roughly 4% keyword density, you can submit it, feeling safe that you have a fully optimized article. Use either your regular internet browser or Article Architect’s submission tool to put your article on the internet for everyone to see.
